- Dry Skin in places
- The odd spot
- Dark Circles under my eyes
- Enlarged pores and blackheads
- Dull skin
And these are the things i would like to tackle or work on. Now i must say, i am quite lazy so something that takes lots of time probably won't work for me as i just won't keep it up, also i don't want to spend lots of money on lots of product, i would rather have a few very products that will do what i need.
Can any of you ladies help, advise or suggest great products that will help? If so feel free to comment below, or link to reviews you have done on your blog or tweet me @boo_brown
Thanks in advance for your help and i hope in a few months i can report back!
Start by getting yourself a Clarisonic brush. I know they are expensive, but if you use it every morning in the shower it will do wonders for spots, blackheads, and dull skin. Use it with a gentle cleanser (I use Philosophy Purity Made Simple, but something like Cetaphil works just as well. Go ahead and get the Clarisonic Mia; the base model with either the sensitive or normal brush depending on how your face reacts. Don't press when you use it; just run it over your skin and it will exfoliate beautifully, clean better than you can possibly imagine and make anything you follow it with work better.
ReplyDeleteI love the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (I posted a review here, and I'd also recommend the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm paired with a good muslin cloth! I can't recommend a good eye cream but try drinking an extra glass of water per day or going to bed half an hour earlier! Hope that helps! Tweet me @beautylovenotes if you'd like any more advice! :) x
ReplyDeleteIm smilar to you in that I'm a bit lazy with how long I want to spend every morning and evening on my skin (mad for a beauty blogger I know)so I only use products that just sink in or I can wipe off with a cotton pad. In the morning keep things simple and use a serum which helps products to absorb quickly and easily followed by a light moisturiser before your normal makeup routine. Then in the evening firstly I use Lush 9 to 5 cleanser which you just slather on then wipe off with a cotton pad which gets rid of makeup, is great for dry skin and very gentle, then I use Ginvera tea tree marvel gel which is a light exfoliator so will help with blackheads which is also fab for brightening up the skin. Again you can just wipe it off with a damp cotton pad (I dampen it with Lush tea tree toner water) and then just finish with moisturising. Only takes 5 minutes to do and has helped my skin sooo much xx

get a gentle facial wash and follow it with a toner at night (garnier is cheap and good), follow by moisturiser (I love oil of olay 3 point treatment cream fragrance free), and use a good primer/serum in the morning (don't wash/cleanse/moisturise)Good primer DHC skin velvet but if dry skin is a problem clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief is amazing and lasts forever. xxx
ReplyDeleteI've actually just done a review of Soap & Glory's Peaches and Clean cleansing milk, which is really cheap and is great for enlarged pores/dull skin and is really minimal fuss, it literally takes about two minutes out of your day! I'd definitely recommend it as something quick and easy :) xx
