I finally have a good review of something from ASOS! My bf bought me this mac to replace my leather skirt, as i sent that back as i just couldn't get into in and it was worth a lot of money to just leave sitting in my wardrobe and i think i made a great choice, i can see me getting lots of wear out of this.
I love the shape, it is so flattering on, the belt really makes it, without the belt it is a bit tentish, but you can tighten the belt as much as you want, creating a killer hourglass if you like, it buttons the whole way down and flares out a bit at the bottom. It comes in two colors but i went for black as it will get with everything in the wardrobe and the nude would get so dirty looking.
It has some really nice details, there is a panel on one side of the coat and at the back there is another panel with a button in the middle. It is a nice length on me, mid thigh. I can see this coat being really warm. A great coat and a great fit and for £55, i think a pocket friendly for a coat that will never go out of fashion.
Great to see you reviewing this mac, I've been wanting it for a while but hoping it comes down in price first as I can't afford it :( just one question - you don't think the flare makes your hips look bigger? That's the only thing I'm worried about. x
ReplyDeleteThe mac is lovely, i think because of the belt, which is fully adjustable so you can make it as tight or lose as you like. The fit and flare style just goes over my hips in a nice way, i don't think it draws attention to them or makes them look bigger.x
DeleteHi, I completely agree you will give the MAC a lot of wear, it is always better rectify and return something instead of wasting the money in the wardrobe (oh well we have all done it some time, I have a pair of jeans for over 2 years that still don't fit...) anyway what I really love about this post is the boots, they are amazing but I have the feeling your calves are slimer than mine so no chance, are the boots from this season?
ReplyDeletethe boots are from simply be and they come in a super curvy calf, mine are about 19" and i have some room still so give them a go.x
