So what is Blinkbox? It's an online movie service that let's you watch movies online.
On signing up i was given £5 free credit as well which was fab, meant i got even more free films to watch. I went for Movie vouchers (but they also do TV). What i liked about this service, over its rivals is that you don't have to subscribe, you can just put credit on your account or just pay when you want to watch a film, it is basically blockbuster online.
They had a great selection of films (you can view them herehttp://www.blinkbox.com/movies) and a lot of them were new release, which i really loved, the other services i use don't offer this. When you rent a film you get 30 days to watch it and once you have watched it, you can get unlimited viewing in 48 hours, perfect if you want to watch it again or your mum wants to see it after you raved about it. You can also buy films from this service.
The service works on many different formats, i watched films on my laptop, my iPad, and my bf's xbox, all you need to do is log in and your library is accessible in all of these places. I do however one suggestion for future improvement of the service, I had a long train journey and wanted to watch one of the films in the my library, however they have to be live streamed, i wish there was a download feature, like on iplayer that would allow me to watch the films without an internet connection.
The customer service was amazing, i had a problem with a film disappearing from my library (because of the above mentioned problem) but customer service got back to me within hours and within 24 hours the film was back in my library, so i really can't rate the customer service enough.
This is a service i will defiantly be using in the future, i love films but rarely get to go to the cinema (money and time being the issue) and my bf doesn't really like the cinema, so this is the perfect solution, i get to see the latest films when they come out from the comfort of my own home at fraction of the cost of going to the cinema.
Lauren also set me up with free Blinkbox codes a few months ago- isn't she lovely? I was actually really impressed with the website. I love the no-subscriptions part, and it's great to be able to see new films without having to leave the house to rent them. Complete convert!
