Frugal February: Week 1

So it has been 10 days into my spending ban and i have to say it is actually going well. I thought i would really struggle, but i am looking at things and going, do i really need or want you and when i think about it, i actually don't. I even returned a few items i had a re-think about so i have actually made some money and i exchanged a too small bra for an amazing dress for my brothers wedding and still got £6 back, result in my eyes.

However temptation has been lurking

Nail Varnish in Fragile

I am loving this Illamsaqua nail polish in Speckled Blue, but at £14.50 it is a little on the steep side.

I have really got into skirts recently, and i really like this monochrome zig zag skirt from New Look, but isn't too badly priced at £14.99

I seen this dress on Steph at the ASOS fit day (post coming soon) and loved it,now i really want it, £45 from ASOS Curve.

L'OrĂ©al top coat in confettis. It is a black and white glitter top coat, which comes out lovely. £4.99

So in total i have saved £79.48, and this is just from items i would defiantly have bought, if i had been actively looking for things or on ebay i am sure the total would be much higher, so there is a perk to being busy.

  2. Well done. I've not bought any clothes so far but i did buy a hair colour, had my hair cut. went out for cocktails and got a new phone, these are things i wouldn't normally do so i think i'm more out of pockets than if i'd been buying clothes!!! ops

Saying that i've not checked my bank yet!!
