This dress has already appeared on my blog as part of the simply perfect for every style challenge me and some of the rad fatties did. The posts were featured on Simply Be's facebook, which received many comment, mostly negative, saying the dress wasn't flattering, it was something their Nan would wear, and we shouldn't sit down in it. Lots of our lovely friends were outraged and voiced their views, so thank you for sticking up to us, the rad fatties managed to silence them....for a while.
So here i am wearing the dress again, because i love it, it is really easy to wear, look good and is comfy. I said in the last post i wanted to team it with some colored tights and here it is with some burgundy tights i got from ASOS Curve.
The tights are actually a really good fit, they are a really thick material and have more than enough room in the waist and it the leg, for only £6 i would recommend giving them a go.

I love this dress - a great shape and as you say, looks very comfy. Good to hear feedback on the ASOS tights too - I've had my eye on them for a while but I always find tights hellish to buy. I got a pair from Style369 not long ago, and even though I'm a 22, I only just managed to fit into their size 22-24 pair! xx
ReplyDeleteOops I meant to say their size 24-26 pair!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely dress and it looks fab contrasting with the tights. As long as you're comfortable and happy, that's all that matters. x x
ReplyDeleteThe dress goes really great with those tights.

ReplyDeleteIf someone isn't hating on your outfit, you aren't doing it right. ;)
