ASOS Curve 2013 S/S Review

I recently placed quite a large ASOS order while they had a VIP 20% off code, if that isn't a time to treat yourself, i don't know what is. I thought i would show you the clothes i bought on and give you a brief overview of them, as these posts seems to be among some of my most popular.

Unicorn Onesie - Available Here £45

I love this onesie, it is just so fun, it is from the main range and i got it in a size 18 and it fits me fine (not quite the relaxed fit it is meant to have but i can still get into it). The hood has a horn and eyes which are adorable, but they do come down quite far so i don't know if you would actually be able to wear the hood down. It also has a tail on the back and love heart detailing. It is a light pink colour with contrast cuffs, zip through body and it has pockets. I love unicorns and this is a step towards becoming one, the only thing that puts me off is the price, at £45 it is a bit steep for a novelty that i probably won't wear that much and can't really keep the hood down so sadly it is going back :(

Skater dress in blue geo - Available here £38

I really liked this dress on the website, the flare looked a lot more exaggerated, which i liked, however on me, it just looks like a normal dress. Bit disappointing. I got it in my usual size 20 and the fit was great. It is 100% cotton so would be nice and cool for the summer (if it ever comes) but it felt quite thin to me. It has a zip at the back. The waist also sits quite low. But the length is good. I just don't think this is worth the money so it is going back.

Skater dress is Mexican floral - Available here £25

I am really in two minds about this dress, i like it but it doesn't wow me. It is your standard skater dress, i got this is a size 20 (the 18 had sold out) and the fit is good. It is higher necked than i thought meaning it covers my Elomi bras (they sit higher on my boobs than my balcony bras). I like the 3/4 sleeves as it is good for days where you don't want to wear a cardigan. The waist is fitted high on this dress which i like as that is my slimmest point and creates a empire line under my bust. Like i said there is nothing wrong with this dress, it ticks many of my boxes, but for some reason i jut don't seem desperate to keep it.

Skater skirt in floral - Available here £16

Not much to really say about this, it is a standard skater skirt in a light fabric, perfect for the summer. I got my usual size 20 and it fits perfectly. The only thing that annoys me (and this is most skirts with an elasticated waist band) the elastic seems to twist and i have to spend ages fighting it back to being straight  but at this price i can't complain and i think it will be a good staple in my wardrobe over the coming months. It is also a good enough length to be worn on it's own.

 Dungarees - Available here £45

These have been everywhere, the plus size blogging community have gone wild for dungarees. I have to admit to being a fan, i had a pair from tammy when i was 16/17 that i wore so being able to get my plus size butt into a pair is a delight. These are the 22, i did also order then 24 as i thought i might need to size up but these are true to size, the 24's were too big on the legs and bust. I love the back, as it is more pinafore style but be warned the zip is stiff. The straps are fully adjustable which is nice and the legs come already rolled up, i am 5'4 and the length is good on me. I again can't decide on these, i really like them but i have no idea how to style them and don't know if i will actually wear them or they will sit forgotten in my wardrobe and be sold on ebay next year. What do you ladies think?

Hope you have found this helpful and any questions, feel free to ask.
