High end vs High street: The Results

On Friday i posted two make up looks, one high end and one high street and asked you to vote on which you thought was which.

Look 1 - High End                                                Look 2 - High Street
Look 2 - High Street                                               Look 1 - High End

62% of you guessed the high street look correctly, 72% of you guessed the high end look correctly and 62% of you preferred look one (the high end look). Here is a break down of what is on my face:

Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation (£11.99) Max Factor Crème Puff Powder Compact (£5.99) MUA Shade Heaven And Earth Palette (£4) ELF blushing rose blush (£3.95) Miss Sporty Fab Lash Mascara (£1.99) Rimmel Professional Eye Brow Pencil (£2.99) Make up revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer (£3). TOTAL: £33.91

Nars Sheer Glow (£31), Smash box primer (£25) Nars pressed powder (£24) Bobbi Brown concealer (£24.50) Naked 2 (£37) Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to chic blusher (£30) HD Brows (£21) Lancome Hypnose Mascara (£21.50) YSL lipstick (£25). TOTAL: £239

The price difference is staggering, i do prefer my hd brows to a pencil as i can get a much better look. For foundation i really can't recommend max factor enough. Yes isn't cheap cheap but they have a great range of colours, only place on the high street that does pale enough for me. I find the high end blushers have better pigment and staying power. For the eye pallettes, i would save your money and go high street. The high street mascara is my favourite, it was actually recommneded to me by a MAC make up artist. And lipsticks, i will always be a high end girl.
