ASOS Curve:Review

I love ASOS Curve i really do, but i have one bugbear and sadly it is quite a big one, and one i have mentioned before, their sizing is awful! I bought 7 dresses yesterday and only 2 are any good. During the sale i would say i bought around 30 items and i spent back the majority as they just didn't fit properly. This is a pretty low success rate and i am starting to get a bit disheartened with the brand. Here is my latest round of disappointment...

Skater dress with sweetheart neckline - £25 available here
I had been thinking about this dress for a while and decided to finally put it in my basket, this is a size 20 and it just doesn't work for me sadly, it clings to my hips and doesn't give me much of a figure. It is also longer than i would want. I do like the sleeves though , a great length and the neckline is good.

Skater dress with embroidery - £80 available here
I wanted to love this dress so much, it is stunning, the flowers are actually embroidered onto the outer layer of the dress and it has pockets. This is a 24 and sadly it just doesn't fit well enough, it looks ok in these pictures but it is a but snug on my bust and too big on my waist and in real life just makes me look a bit lost in it and the arms swamp me, sizing down isn't an option as my boobs barely fit now :(

Carmakoma Street Art Print Skater Dress - £89 Available here
The main problem with this is that it is just too big, i went for the L and really i need the M, so i might reorder but i don't know if it is really worth the price tag. Yes it is nice, i like the print and the zip but £89 for a dress that isn't wow stunning just seems like a lot.

Skater dress in floral - £32 available here
This is the 22 as i knew the fabric would have no give, i can get it over my boobs but it is a little bit of a struggle and i am worried it might rip one day. Once on it is nice enough but the waist sits a little low for me and for some reason it just doesn't work and again the buttons are struggling to contain my ample chest. I like the back detail though. I think this is more of a summer dress and maybe i don't see it fitting into my winter wardrobe.

Smock dress in check - £36 available here
Well i had already had a huge disaster with this dress when i bought the 22 and it was HUGE, like a proper maternity dress but less flattering but being the trier i am i order it in the 20, it is a bit better but still way to big in the waist and way too small on the bust. Maybe i just don't suit the smock shape or this dress is just very wrong . It just looks totally different on me to how it does on the model.

Skater dress with dobby mesh - £30 available here
Finally something i like. This is the 20 and a great fit. It needs an iron to get the creases out but i like the soft material, it looks good on my curves and the mesh detail looks fab. When i first tried it this morning i wasn't sure, it seems a little too high and felt a bit like it was choking me but when i tried it again it felt better. A winner.

I did get one final dress that i love but i am keeping that for another post.
What do you think of ASOS curve?Do you have issues with the sizing or am i being fussy?
