In April i am heading to Las Vegas for Viva, the largest rockabilly event in the world. Part of the line up is a pool party, so i knew i needed to step my pussy up and get a swimsuit that would dazzle. Now most people attending the pool party will be in true vintage swimsuits, however, such a thing is a pretty mythical item in plus size, so i was going for something that would snag me a sugar daddy and show off my best assets.

Magnificent 7th: Swimwear
9 Aug 2014

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!

OMCZ: Show some skin
18 Jun 2014

Challenge 34#
Show some skin - This weeks challenge theme has been chosen by Katt! Here is what she she said "As summer approaches and the days get warmer, I'm struck with the fear of getting my pasty white legs and the tops of my arms out. Apart from the obvious rudey parts, what areas of your body do you prefer to keep covered? Ladies, show me those white bits!"

This month’s theme was Sports Relief
Swimsuit - Clements Ribeiro at Evans
I really struggled with what to do for this months challenge, i'm not what you would call sporty. I toyed with the idea of a red outfit but i don't actually have that much red in my wardrobe. As i was putting my washing away i came across my swimsuit, i had wore it for Hot Tub fun times in Sheffield last week and thought this is perfect for sports relief. It is also a fabulous swimsuit that i wanted to show you.
I wonder how the other ladies have tackled the theme

OMCZ - Emulate Another Blogger's Style
5 Dec 2013
Challenge 21#
Emulate Another Blogger's Style - This weeks challenge theme has been chosen by Rebecca. "I know it's best sometimes to keep things simple, but I've recently been thinking about how fun it would be to emulate another blogger's style that is very much so out of our comfort zone. It could be a blogger within or outside of the the OMCZ group, but I know there are plenty of bloggers out there whose style I love but have not dared to wear."
Can you guess who i am trying to emulate?
Did you guess right? I am trying to emulate Gabi Gregg, here is the lady herself
I thought what better way to emulate a legend of a blogger than wearing her own design. This is one of the fatikini's she designed in the summer that sold out in hours. I was lucky to get this for free after they made a mistake with our order, i was very pleased indeed. This got it's first outing at Bee's hot tub party a few weekend ago and i felt amazing in it.
Want to see who everyone else is emulating, i know i do

M&S Swimsuit review
9 Jun 2012
This swimsuit is from M&S i got it while they had 20% so it was originally £35 but i paid £28. It has tummy control, soft foam cups and detachable straps.
The Good - It is actually a good fit, i managed to get my boobs in and i didn't have to fight into it. It is a very cute pattern and i like the frill skirt detail. Nice to have built in cups as it adds an extra bit of support.
The Bad - The foam cups make my boobs look awful, no lift and just kinda flattens them. The detectable straps are way to short so it doesn't end up sitting right and without the straps the tops won't be able to contain my boobs which to lead to very embarrassing times. I also think the pattern isn't flattering and makes me look huge (while i know i am big i don't need clothes which emphasis this)
Overall - I think it will be going back, this isn't a practical swimsuit for me, this would be a lazy by the pool swimsuit, if you have smaller boobs, it might well be a success for you. The hunt for a swimsuit continues, i think i will look more closely at Simply Be.
P.s Hi-definition pictures of my body scare me a bit, i think i look awful!
How it should look

5 Jun 2012
So after seeing all the fatinkis and swimsuits, i decided to dig out my swimwear and see if it still fitted (i bought it 2 years ago for a holiday to Cyprus) and i think, as you will see, that it is now too small.
Means i get to hunt for swimwear, now i have more body confidence and don’t want to hide away or cover up, excited!
