London Edge 2016

Two weeks ago i headed off to London for London Edge, the biggest alternative clothes convention. With brands like Hell Bunny, Collectif, amd Voodoo Vixen, i knew it was going to be a day of great fashion and couldn't wait to sneak a peek at the upcoming collections.

Evelyn Pin Up Girl Clothing (PUG) in the Mary Blair Umbrella print, size 4x. plus size

On the day i wore my Evelyn Pin Up Girl Clothing (PUG) in the Mary Blair Umbrella print and teamed it with my ASOS sale shoes, which are just adorable with the 3D flowers on.

I am wearing a 4x in this dress, but the fit is snug, unlike my other Evelyn, so i would say it doesn't fit like other 4x's and comes up small. The dress with a gathered bust which can accommodate a range of bust sizes and this is where i would say the fit is a 4x. I wore it with the matching removable bolero shrug, but i find the 4x in this a little big, sadly you can't pick and mix your dress and bolero size. Also as the skirt is so full, it really needs a petticoat to help with the fullness.

I have to put a mention of PUG's customer service here, when the original dress arrived it had a fault, nothing major but a seam had been missed leaving a hole. PUG replaced it without any trouble, they paid my return shipping and ensured i didn't have to pay customs again on my new dress.

The day itself was great, i loved spending it with some of my favorite people, Tanya, Charlie, Lottie and Kerry. We always have such a laugh together and it was really want i needed after feeling a bit disconnected for the community recently. We got to talk to lots of brands about Plus Size ranges and i felt it is something some of the brands are really taking on board.

Now i am going to let the pictures do the talking...

I love this Collectif Mermaid dress, all the girls on the stand were wearing them and i looked amazing. This WILL be in my wardrobe once it is back in stock in my size. There are also some great pieces coming out - leather skirts!

We happened across Lola Ramona and fell in love with the shoes. Quirky cute but with that vintage edge. Also with a heel that i could maybe actually walk in. Just look at the that rainbow heel!

We spent quite a while at the Iron Fist stand chatting with one of the reps about plus size, and were really pleased that they wanted feedback and were happy to take it on board....watch this space is all i can say.

They had some of the most adorable shoes that i must own

There was also a bloggers talk we attended

Silly Old Sea Dog were also getting in on the mermaid action and told us she had an special Easter dress coming up

We also saw some amazing Latex clothing at the show.

How cute is this playsuit?

George and Lottie braved the Latex and Yummy Gummy Latex and actually gave us our own little private catwalk. I always love catching up with George, she is just such fun (and filth).

And finally some selfies from the day, can't wait for Autumn show.
