Skin Care Post

I have quite problematic skin, I’m very pale, my skin is sensitive and dry and until recently I suffered mildly with acne which has left scars, which I think are very apparent due to my aforementioned pale skin. So I thought I would post about what I use on my skin and what make up I use (I know my make-up is hardly ground-breaking but I find it covers well and gives me some colour without being obvious)

So daily I use Clarins Daily Energizer range, so far I have two products, the wake up booster and the cream. These are amazing; I tried countless products before a friend recommend this, within a week I was receiving compliments on my skin.

For moisturiser I use Johnsons 24 hour facial moisture for dry and sensitive skin.

Once or twice a week I use Garnier Pure 3in1, I go through all three cycles, wash, scrub and mask. I find this helps reduce my pores and stop spots.

And my life saver product that helped me with the acne is Quinoderm. It’s available from behind the counter at a chemist, but do the skin test, some people can have bad reactions.

Face – First I use a Benefit’s that gal primer to prepare my face. I have a selection of foundations, depending on how much coverage I want, Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector is an amazing all in one B.B cream and I wear this most days for uni. Maybelline Dream satin liquid in ivory is what I use for when my skin is a bit questionable or I need it to last all day and finally Max Factor Xperience in raw silk, I bought this after getting a tester that I loved, it has amazing coverage and makes me look flawless, I wear this when I want to look great or need a pick me up.Over my foundation or on its own if I’m having a good skin day I use Max Factor crème puff pressed powder in truly fair, again amazing coverage and you can get away with just wearing this, that’s how good it is.

Eyes – I often just wear eyeliner and my favourite is Rimmel special eyes in black magic, I find it doesn’t smudge that much and can last a full day.  When I’m going for a night out I will put on Bourjois eye shadow in Les Argents, it has two greys and white, giving the perfect smoky eye. I have really long eye lashes so I don’t need to lengthen, I just need something that will curl and hold them (I have tried all sorts including really expensive mascara) my favourite is Avon Super curlacious. To finish off as my eyebrows are quite light and thin I will pencil them in use Rimmel eyebrow pencil in dark brown.

Cheeks – Benefit Thrrob is what I have used for years, sadly they have discontinued it now but it’s just right for my pale skin and don’t make me look like a clown.

Lips – Max Factor Lipfinity in colour 08 (that is all that’s on it) for a subtle lip.

I hope this has been useful/helpful and any questions, just ask.
