Viva Forever

I recently went to London to see the Spice Girls musical and have a Spice Girl themed afternoon tea. It was a great day, me and my good friend Vikkie went up early so we could do some browsing and shopping first, although i actually didn't buy anything.

This is what i wore, The dress is from ASOS, it popped into the sale section on the website but i had never seen it before. I loved the collar detail and the purple was such a lovely color and at £17.50 it was a bargain. I team it with my new DP belt that i got in the sale for  few pounds.

First up we went to Selfridges to look at all the beauty counters, the smell from the YSL counter was amazing and made me want to buy more perfume. We ended up in the chocolate section and there was some amazing stuff.

This is the biggest snickers i've ever seen, i know this picture doesn't show scale but it was huge, 16oz to be exact!

The worlds largest Gummy Bear

We then headed over to Carnaby Street as i wanted to take Vikkie to Choccywoccydoodah, which is an amazing cake shop that make all the decoration out of chocolate, it has it's own TV show and is based in Brighton but last year they opened a store in London, it has a cafe upstairs which serves all kinds of goodies and treats, defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Some of the window display, i loved the cakes made of chocolate!

They have a bit of Gothic theme with the skulls.

Then it was afternoon noon tea time at Harvey Nichols! I love afternoon tea and so this was a real treat

The Menu

Tea Pigs - It was like Non Alcoholic mulled wine

The afternoon tea! Each of the spice girls had a cake themed after them, my favorite was Scary spices chili chocolate roll. The presentation was just amazing, Baby spices mousse was served in a bottle with a tiny spoon and Sporty spices cake pop was served in a jar of colored sugar. The scones were some of the best i have ever had, one was a winter spiced flavor which with the champagne strawberry jelly was just divine  i might need to learn how to make them .

We then went to Harrods. We went to Pet world and it just blew my mind, they had a gym and beauty center for dogs, they even had a dog bakery, where you could buy pupcakes and birthday cakes for your pampered pooch (i know i will be returning when i finally get my dog). They had some amazing cute French Bulldog puppies which were retailing for £3,500, a bit out of my price range.

All lit up in case you miss it

Then we headed off to the theater to see the show, which was great, it started slowed but got much better and by the end everyone was up singing and dancing. Such a great day followed by an amazing evening, if you are a fan of the spice girls, you should go see the musical as it will take you back to being a child again.

Finally a random photo from the day, but something that made me laugh and ask why the hell did someone take a cake into the toilets of Harvey Nichols?
