Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
I’ve only had a real tree once, I was about 13, bought lots of lovely decorations for it and our cats were kittens at the time, they loved climbing into the tree and kept breaking my beautiful decorations as they would knock the tree over, so Christmas eve I got so upset I threw the tree into the garden and never again have I had a real tree.

You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick up?
I don’t drink tea or coffee and don’t enjoy hot drinks as a general (I’m strange) so I think I would have a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows on top.

What's your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
The tree has been my domain for year now and it is blue and silver, but last year I bought a white tree and loads of brightly coloured really tacky decorations for my Bath house, but my mum has said we can put it up at home this year (clearly breaking her shoulder has changed her).

Giving or receiving?
I like to think I am a great gift giver and I put a lot of thought into my gifts and try to make them something really special for the person and I love seeing their face when they open it, it really is a magical feeling.

To mince pie or not to?
Not.  Raisins are the devil’s food.

What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
We have three meats, Chicken, Beef and Gammon normally with all your usual roast trimmings (pigs in the blankets might be the one of the best things about Sunday lunch) but this year we are not having Christmas dinner on Christmas day to give my dad a break and have something more chilled and family focused so instead i will be stuffing my face with cheese.

Christmas day fashion
I usually put on a nice dress for the start of the day but by 5pm I’m in my oneise curled up on the sofa watching tv and stuffing my face.

What's your favourite Christmas song?
I think it is Wham last Christmas, I just love it and I always sing along really badly when it comes on.

What's your favourite Christmas film?
The nightmare before Christmas, it is my favourite film of all time but I always watch the polar express on Christmas day.

Open presents before or after lunch?
We normally stagger it throughout the day, my 5 year old niece spends the day with us so we open all those straight away and then start building and playing with them, the adults are more relaxed about present opening.
