Cut for Evans review

I ordered two pieces from the Cut collection for Evans, it is a collection designed by graduate students, it is a big step outside of the Evans comfort zone but i love that. It won't be to everyone's taste and that is fine. Anyway i thought i would show you what the pieces i got look like on. Excuse my lack of make up and no shoes, i just took these photos quickly for you.

First up is abstract print shirt. I got the 24 as i know if it has buttons i need to size up for my bust. Plus i wanted a slightly baggy look. The fit is good on me, but there was more room in the bust than i thought, so you might be fine in your normal size. The back has some lovely attention to detail with some pintuck detail. The colours and the print are amazing and really eye catching. I can't wait to dress this up.

The other item i ordered is the yellow cut out scuba dress. I got this in a 22 and i don't know if i should have got the 20, the material is a thick scuba material, it clings to every lump and bump, shapewear could be a must for this dress. The 20 might have been more bodycon and might have looked better. Also the print doesn't line up correctly on my dress which is a bad sad. I loved the cut out detail, it is what drew me to this dress. On me it sits above my knee. Sadly i'm not in love with it, the yellow colour really doesn't go with my skintone and it just doesn't do anything for my figure. i prefer something with a bit more shape. There will be some girls who totally rock this, i just don't think i am one of them.

On a final note, i was really impressed with the price points of these items, normally Evans inflate prices for collections but the prices here are in line with normal Evans stock which i was really pleased with.
