I have to be honest and say Ann Harvey isn't a brand i would really consider, i thought it was aimed at ladies a bit older than me. I saw their Catwalk at Plus North and this dress caught my eye. A week later i received an email asking if i would like to review to a piece as Ann Harvey had relaunched in collaboration with Bonmarche and i knew what piece it would be.
The ultimate occasion dress, in this seasons key champagne tone. The dress is fully lined with a wrap v-neck, which flatters and skims the silhouette. The lace overlay cascades down the dress in a layered way and the sequins add a bit of sparkle, without being too look at me. The quality of this dress is outstanding, it feels really well made and like it will last. I wasn't sure the colour would look good on my pale complexion but i have to say it is nice. The v neck adds a bit of sex appeal, but the length keeps it modest and the sleeves will make those who don't like their arms happy and you can wear it without a cardigan.. This won't be a dress for the younger lady, but for ladies who want to dress classy and feel elegant i think this could be a cracker of a dress for the up coming festive party season.
