Dress - AX paris at Simply Be
Shoes - Simply Be

Just a quick post from me today, now i am back in Bath and supervising exams i am quite busy. This is an outfit i wore last week, i went to the cinema with my brother to see Spiderman (good film btw, but someone on facebook ruined the end, grr) and then being the classy girl i am we went for McDonald's. They have a body con version of this dress but i am a bit adverse to body con so went for the swing dress.

OMCZ: Breaking the fashion rules

Rachel  put a call out on twitter to see if anyone would be interested in a new challenge, helping us to get out of our comfort zone. Sadly Rachel has had to take some personal time but Steph has taken over the reins and we are going to continue pushing our comfort zone!

Challenge 11#
Breaking the fashion rules - This weeks challenge was set by me and here is my thinking behind it: How you interpret this is up to you, it could be something us fat ladies shouldn't do or just a fashion no no in general. I like this idea as we are always being told about the 'fashion rules' but where did they actually come from, who sets these rules and why do they get to tell us what we shouldn't wear, so i say let's give two fingers to the 'fashion police' and show that breaking the rules can be all kinds of right.

Dress - AX Paris via New Look
Shoes - Very*
Lipstick - MAC Neon orange

So lets look at the rules broken:
Bare arms out....check
Legs out ...check
VBO....check
bodycon....check
Not a black tent...check
neon....check

I think that's a far few rules smashed and don't i look great in the process? This outfit is loud and proud, it really makes a statement and the statement is 'i'm here, i'm fat and i like it'.

Now go check out the other fabulous ladies taking part!

Bird Dress - Review

So i finally gave in the got the bird dress from AX Paris. I had a discount code so got it for £28 instead of the usual £35.

I originally ordered a 22 thinking as it has a zip i might need a bit of extra space for my boobs, but after talking to Hanna she advised me that the dress runs really small, so i emailed AX Paris and they altered the order for me no problems, so in that respect they were a delight to buy from.

I'm really glad i did size up! the dress is lovely, the pattern is really pretty, and the zip detail with the pockets makes it look interesting and not like every other dress. But it most defiantly does run small, I can get my boobs in and they aren't massively squashed (i'm  a 40H) but it also isn't massively oversized anywhere else, so if buying from AX Paris, i would defiantly size up. Overall i love this dress and will be keeping it, it is also a possible outfit for Plus North
