Peek-a-boo

Dress- Very
Boots - Simply Be

Day 13 of 30 days 30 dresses. I didn't realise how see through this dress was and that you can actually see my bra, worse still, i wore this teaching, oh well, i guess it gave them something to talk about. I like the orange contrast and peek a boo detail, makes an otherwise plain dress, something more special.

Day 4 of 30 days 30 dresses. This dress is amazing and i am so glad it is available up to a size 24, it is the kind of dress i dreamed of as a fat girl. I saw it is someone's wish list post and clicked straight through and bought it, i needed it in my life that much. I am wearing a 22 and i think it is true to size.

Autumn floral

Dress - Very
Kimono - Asos curve

Toni mentioned that she was going to embark on a challenge of 30 days, 30 dresses the idea being to wear all the lovely dresses in her wardrobe over the next month. After seeing Nikki had joined in too, I have decided to take part as i have so many lovely dresses that sit in my wardrobe slightly unloved, so i'm hoping this will force me to stop wearing the same dresses time and time and rediscover some much loved dresses that have been forgotten.

This is a dress i got from Very a while ago after seeing lots of bloggers wearing it. I love the autumn colours in it, making it different from the other floral dresses i own. Also a fan of the zip and collar.

OMCZ: Workwear

Challenge 22#
Workwear - This weeks challenge theme has been chosen by Hollie."Work wear is so boring and I have to spend 9 hours a day in an office! Show me how to spice up work wear in whatever way you can. I want to look smart / casual but still fashionable! It's so easy to hide behind a desk but I want to walk through the office in style. Come on ladies, show me your sexy secretary look or your quirky call centre attire!
Can't wait for the inpiration! :)"

Dress - Fearne Cotton via Very
Boots - Simply Be
Necklace - Twisted Siren

I don't have a work attire, i can wear whatever i like, making this a bit of a mute challenge for me (in case you don't know what i do, i am teaching associate at the university i do my PhD at). So here is one of my last outfits i wore before i came home for Christmas, i am trying to get into swing dresses as they are just so easy to wear and i like the red pipping detail on this and the huge pockets. Sorry this is a bit of a boring one from me.

Go check out what the other ladies wear to work

Dare to be noticed

A crossword top i hear you say, why yes i do own one. This is quite an unusual top, i haven't seen anything like it before and i got lots of compliments when i wore it to uni.

The top is from Very and is part of the Jamelia Jamil collection, which has lots of lovely pieces. It goes up to a 20 but the 20 was sold out when i got mine, so i got an 18 and it fits fine, it has an oversized slouchy fit, it hangs off one of my shoulders and to make it even better, it is actually a crop top of sorts, it comes mid belly on me so i could wear it with shorts or just on it own in leggings too.
