London Outing
17 Apr 2014
Top - Live Unlimited
Cardgian - Asda
Necklace - Primark
On Tuesday i went to London to see Russell Howard at The Royal Albert Hall. The venue is truly stunning and one of the most beautiful theatres i have been too and we were two rows from the front so had a great view; i had to stop myself rushing the stage and touching him. The show was very funny (i don't care for your personal opinion on my taste in stand up comedy). I have seen every one of Howard's tours since 2006 now, just as he started appearing on Mock The Week so it has been nice to follow his journey. His sister gave birth while he was on stage so at the end of the show he phoned her and her us all to sing to his nephew. I also went for a mooch around Selfridges with my poor brother in tow, i spent ages cooing over the beauty counters and even made a few cheeky purchases.
Magnificent 7th: Something you never wear

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!
This month’s theme was something you never wear
Dress - Live Unlimited
Necklace - Gift
Boots - New Look Inspire
After the 30 days 30 dresses challenge i don't have that much in my wardrobe now that i haven't t least worn once, so it was quite hard for me to find something that i don't wear, also in part because i have so many clothes, but i came across this dress, which i have had for a while but haven't yet worn and i wasn't sure why. It is such a lovely dress, when i saw it at the Live Unlimited press day on one of the hosts, i asked if this was going to be in the collection, she let me try it on and it was love. I got it in the sale before Xmas (i'm wearing a size 14, proof that labels mean nothing) but i think i thought it looked too fancy to wear for everyday, but then i thought sod it, i am just going to wear it, what is the point of having nice clothes if you are never going to wear them. Also how fabulous is the necklace? my parents got me it for Xmas.
I wonder how the other ladies have tackled the theme

This month’s theme was Date Night

Jeans - New look Inspire
As a single lady date night for me would be going out with my friend Vikkie, we would grab some dinner, have a late night mooch around the beauty counters and maybe a cheeky starbucks. So mine is a more of a relaxed look than full on dress to impress, but i think it is still pretty. I saw this top at the Live Unlimited preview i was invited to and really liked it. The detail is really pretty and i like the shape, for reference i am wearing a 16, it comes up big.
I wonder what the other ladies are wearing for date night...

My favourite outfits of 2013
30 Dec 2013
As 2013 is drawing to an end i thought i would look back at the blog and pick some of my favourite outfits of 2013.
It was really hard choosing my favourite outfits (i didn't include my 12 days of Christmas dresses as i loved so many of them) and i could have easily added another 10 as i've worn so many fab things but i couldn't overrun you with photos. I love that the majority of these outfits come from the challenge posts i do, showing that they really are helping my sense of style and making me explore fashion and my wardrobe. Here is to 2014 and may my wardrobe, confidence and sense of style keep growing.

My day at Live Unlimited
6 Oct 2013
Dress - Pink Clove
Cardigan - New Look Inspire
Sorry for how late this post is and how quiet the blog has been, i moved back to Bath in the week and our internet is down, they have to replace the line, so i hope that it is fixed soon. Anyway last week i was invited to Camden to Live Unlimited's headquarters. We got to see some of the upcoming range, which is online now, with some great pieces still to go live. What struck me was the teams passion, they were so devoted to making the range great and taking feedback from us, they really want input and wanted to know what we thought, good and bad. I had a great time and got to catch up some of the great blogging ladies.
So what do you wear to a fashion houses headquarters? I wanted to show off my new Pink Clove dress, this is actually the first dress i bought, as i loved the print, i received a few compliments on it and someone noted on how unique it was. Another big thumbs up for Pink Clove.

I have had this top a while now and have worn it a few times but i am only just getting round to showing it on the blog. This is another Live Unlimited piece i got in the sale. I loved the print and interesting back. In the heat the material can get a bit sticky let's say so isn't the perfect choice for a really warm day but great for the weather we are currently having. I am wearing a 20 and it fits perfectly, i find that most of the Live Unlimited pieces come up big. Simple but striking.
