Bristol Primark Haul

On Monday i went through to Bristol for a bit of retail therapy. I had planned to get some bits in Space NK but the one in Harvey Nichols doesn't stock Becca or Hourglass, i was a bit disappointed, but meant i was able to spend more in Primark. So what did i get?

  • They has these lovely spring coloured cardigans down to £4.90 from £6 so i got 3 colours as i just couldn't decide which was my favourite. I got 2 18's and one 20. I didn't plan on wearing them buttoned up so the fit is fine. They are quite stretchy and quite a light knit.
  • Peep toe shoes, as the weather get warmer my feet hate being trapped in shoes, but i don't think it is quite flip flop weather yet so this my middle ground, the are from the wide fit section, they also had them in nude and red and they were £8. Now i just need to paint my toe nails
  • Leggings, primark leggings are a staple item for me, i gave up buying expensive leggings as they always got holes, so instead i spend £3 a pair and they last as long as they last. They are also a great length on my legs and don't go baggy on my knees, all winners in my book. They had a new cotton stretch ankle length pair in so i got them and my usual ones.
  • I needed a plain white tee, i have white vest tops so i needed to fill the void, i have some outfits that would look great with a white top, and when teaching i like to have some sleeves.
  • I also spotted a bolero, i love a bolero for the spring, this sits perfectly on me and hugs my shoulders
  • I liked this wooden dream sign, it will go with my relax one in my room and it will remind me that i still need to have dreams, because if you don't have dreams, what have you got to look forward to.
  • I picked up two necklaces, i had to be really tame here, i had about 5 in my hand but i just didn't need that many, so i picked these two, one is silver shapes at different angles and a gold and black triangle.
  • The bags, i think these are my favourite buys from the day. The silver holographic bag has been a much coveted item, it is a good size and for only £8 a bargain. The boom bag, i just liked how playful it is, i might actually use it is as a make up bag, it was only £4.
So that's my Primark Haul. I think i could have got more but i was trying to be reasonable, i really wish now i had got something from the my little pony range, but i'm going to London in a few weeks so i will go to the big Primark there and maybe indulge a bit.

Basingstoke Haul

Yesterday i went to Basingstoke with my mum and brother for a spot of shopping. I quite like going to Basingstoke as it is somewhere different to Reading (the shops might not be as good but sometimes i get bored shopping in Reading). We had a good look round the shops and had a spot of lunch, it was a nice day out together. I also bought quite a few bits so i thought i would share with you what i got

  • Superdrug had some amazing better than half price deals on, i stocked up on dry shampoo and thought i would give the new Elvive thickening set a go. This all cost me £8.89 and is worth over £20.
  • After seeing the lego movie i loved unikitty so i picked this up in Argos (my mum mocked me but i don't care)
  • I have wanted this My Little Pony for ages and i had a £5 off voucher so i thought now was the perfect time to use it, i also got the coronation cape (yes i am 26)
  • I got some new trainers, since my back is has been bad, i have found myself turning to trainers even more, my brother is a huge fan of British Knights and when i saw this pair i loved how different they looked, they are jr size but luckily my feet are small enough, they were 50% so a bargain, my mum treated me to these. I think i am going to get some baby blue laces to put in them.
  • There is a shop called tiger in Basingstoke which sells all sorts of magical things, i picked up some large bulldog clips for keeping all my work together.
  • The Primark in Basingstoke isn't as trend led as the Reading store but it has lots of stock in bigger sizes  so a bonus for me. I picked up this super hero t shirt dress, i love it. I also stocked up on some leggings and got two necklaces, at £3 each i couldn't leave them behind.
  • My final purchases were from Next, i got the now famous 'i'm kinda a big deal on my blog' t-shirt and some amazing geek cut out shoes, sadly they are actually too big so i need to go exchange them for a smaller size.

Primark Haul 2

Yesterday i met my brother in Bristol for dinner and to go see Russell Brand. We went to Frankie and Benny's, where i had the most delicious salted caramel cheesecake with honeycomb, anyway i digress. I managed to squeeze in a wee trip to Primark, i have been disappointed lately with the Bristol store as it always seemed really slow on getting the stock i see my fellow bloggers wearing, but i finally hit some gold (they also had amazing Christmas jumpers in but my brother talked me out of buying one....for now).

I just love a good dog cushion, my bed is now covered in them (well this is my 3rd) but is was just too pretty to leave behind.

Reindeer body puff. This was at the checkout along with shower hats, i love reindeers so i grabbed him on impulse but he is it pretty cute, not sure i want to rub him over my body though.

I went wild in the jewllery section as you will see, i had to stop myself from buying at least another 4 limited edition necklaces, they are all big, bold statement pieces that i love. I am so glad they finally arrived in Bristol. Bit gutted to discover though that two of the necklaces are missing stones, i clearly didn't check properly when buying as i was in  hurry. I think the prices are great though, £8 for a necklace that would be £20 in topshop so kudos to Primark, even if the quality isn't amazing.
