Bristol Primark Haul

On Monday i went through to Bristol for a bit of retail therapy. I had planned to get some bits in Space NK but the one in Harvey Nichols doesn't stock Becca or Hourglass, i was a bit disappointed, but meant i was able to spend more in Primark. So what did i get?

  • They has these lovely spring coloured cardigans down to £4.90 from £6 so i got 3 colours as i just couldn't decide which was my favourite. I got 2 18's and one 20. I didn't plan on wearing them buttoned up so the fit is fine. They are quite stretchy and quite a light knit.
  • Peep toe shoes, as the weather get warmer my feet hate being trapped in shoes, but i don't think it is quite flip flop weather yet so this my middle ground, the are from the wide fit section, they also had them in nude and red and they were £8. Now i just need to paint my toe nails
  • Leggings, primark leggings are a staple item for me, i gave up buying expensive leggings as they always got holes, so instead i spend £3 a pair and they last as long as they last. They are also a great length on my legs and don't go baggy on my knees, all winners in my book. They had a new cotton stretch ankle length pair in so i got them and my usual ones.
  • I needed a plain white tee, i have white vest tops so i needed to fill the void, i have some outfits that would look great with a white top, and when teaching i like to have some sleeves.
  • I also spotted a bolero, i love a bolero for the spring, this sits perfectly on me and hugs my shoulders
  • I liked this wooden dream sign, it will go with my relax one in my room and it will remind me that i still need to have dreams, because if you don't have dreams, what have you got to look forward to.
  • I picked up two necklaces, i had to be really tame here, i had about 5 in my hand but i just didn't need that many, so i picked these two, one is silver shapes at different angles and a gold and black triangle.
  • The bags, i think these are my favourite buys from the day. The silver holographic bag has been a much coveted item, it is a good size and for only £8 a bargain. The boom bag, i just liked how playful it is, i might actually use it is as a make up bag, it was only £4.
So that's my Primark Haul. I think i could have got more but i was trying to be reasonable, i really wish now i had got something from the my little pony range, but i'm going to London in a few weeks so i will go to the big Primark there and maybe indulge a bit.

Primark Haul 2

Yesterday i met my brother in Bristol for dinner and to go see Russell Brand. We went to Frankie and Benny's, where i had the most delicious salted caramel cheesecake with honeycomb, anyway i digress. I managed to squeeze in a wee trip to Primark, i have been disappointed lately with the Bristol store as it always seemed really slow on getting the stock i see my fellow bloggers wearing, but i finally hit some gold (they also had amazing Christmas jumpers in but my brother talked me out of buying one....for now).

I just love a good dog cushion, my bed is now covered in them (well this is my 3rd) but is was just too pretty to leave behind.

Reindeer body puff. This was at the checkout along with shower hats, i love reindeers so i grabbed him on impulse but he is it pretty cute, not sure i want to rub him over my body though.

I went wild in the jewllery section as you will see, i had to stop myself from buying at least another 4 limited edition necklaces, they are all big, bold statement pieces that i love. I am so glad they finally arrived in Bristol. Bit gutted to discover though that two of the necklaces are missing stones, i clearly didn't check properly when buying as i was in  hurry. I think the prices are great though, £8 for a necklace that would be £20 in topshop so kudos to Primark, even if the quality isn't amazing.

Bristol Haul

On Tuesday i went through to Bristol to indulge in a spot of retail therapy and here is what i bought

  1. Reindeer cushion. Primark £5. I love a good cushion and my bed now has three. I like that this one is has a bit of a Christmas feel about it. It is kind of felt material and i love the stitched edges.
  2. Sweet leggings. Primark £6. When i saw these i just couldn't resist, they are covered in sweeties and for a fatty like me they are awesome.
  3. Fairy lights. Primark £3. I wanted some fairy lights to put around my bed and these were cheap and also plug into the mains, batteries are a pain in the bum.
  4. Relax sign. Primark £1. Sometimes i need to remember to relax, i am quite a stressy person so having this in my room will remind me to relax.
  5. L'oreal radiance revealing exfoliator . Boots Free. There was a 3 for 2 skincare offer on so i got this free with my other two purchases. I found this to be a gentle yet effective exfoliator so this is a repurchase.
  6. No 7 pore vacuum mask. Boots £14. I heard great things about this from my friend and seeing as my pores are one of my biggest issues i thought i would give this a go.
  7. Hydraluron Moisture Booster. Boots £24.99. This is a much raved about product in the beauty world and i suffer from dry skin which gets worse during the cold months so again i thought i would give this a go.
  8. MAC Viva Glam 1. Debenhams £15. I actually swapped another lipsticks i had for this (i bought ruby woo then bought riri woo in the limited edition packaging and don't really need both). I don't know if this is a permanent colour or if it has been brought back as part of a promotion but i love the dark red colour.
  9. MAC Mehr. Debenhams £15. I have been looking for this for ages but it was always out of stock, it is a perfect nude (one of my first nudes from MAC). A your lips but better colour. I see this getting a lot of use over the coming months.
So that's what i bought in Bristol. I was a bit disappointed with Primark, i had gone in with hopes of spending lots of cash, i wanted some jewelry but the stock was a bit disappointing, i did have to fight the urge to buy a new bedding set though.
